Our Missionaries
Dr's. Dan & Joan Jones Bio: There is a Wesleyan hospital in Zambia, and the patients who come to Zimba Mission Hospital (ZMH) expect good medical treatment. As missionary medical doctors at ZMH, it is the goal of Dan and Joan Jones to provide quality medical care every day. With their medical ministry at ZMH, Dan and Joan have an alternative platform to present the gospel message to many people who are lost and refuse to go to church. Patients at ZMH are able to witness firsthand a demonstration of Christ’s love for them. These acts of compassion have dramatic effects on patients. It can be a life-changing event for patients to see the gospel message displayed in such a tangible way.
For over 50 years, thousands of patients have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior at ZMH. As missionary doctors at ZMH, Dan and Joan have a special privilege of fulfilling the command of Jesus “to love your neighbor” by caring for the sick.
“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Mark 12:31a NIV).
Dr's Dan & Joan Jones were our guest speakers in our Sunday morning worship service on August 28,2011 at 10:00 A.M. It was a joy to hear about what God is doing through their ministry in Zambia, Africa!

Scott & Rachel McNett Bio: Scott has had the privilege to go on three short-term mission trips to the Czech Republic. During the first trip, he felt God calling him to missions, and this call was confirmed on the subsequent mission trips. Rachel has served as a GO-Net volunteer missionary in Russia. While in Russia, she felt God was leading her into missions. This call was confirmed after she was married and went on a short-term mission trip with her husband. The McNetts also served as Global Partners’ missionaries in the Czech Republic in 2006, and in April 2009 Global Partners appointed them to serve as long-term missionaries to the Czech Republic.
Scott and Rachel desire to learn the Czech language and culture so they can build strong relationship with the Czech people. Through these relationships they want to share the love of Christ and to help them see their need for Jesus in their lives.
Their sons, Isaac (‘01) and Levi (‘02), and daughter Abigail ('04) will be with them in the Czech Republic. Scott’s children, Bradley (‘89) and Elizabeth (‘92), will remain in North America.
Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV). More information can be obtained by going to the Global Partners link on this web site.
